Transforming the Lives of Adults with Autism in Washington State….starts with transforming a system of support. The reality of services that support all people across the autism spectrum throughout the lifespan include a large number of service systems that individuals and families will need to know how and when to navigate. It feels like the person with autism is being dissected, do they meet the eligibility criteria of need, what agency will support them, how do we train those systems, etc. Autism is a neurological spectrum disorder, that has to be look at in it’s entirety.
