There should be an expectation that services and supports for individuals with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities be sustained over a lifetime. Working with our youth to be welcoming, inclusive, and understand the unique needs of everyone is a great start. Sometimes it takes attitude!

The expectation and hope that the unique needs and service support for people with high acuity needs will be sustained throughout their lives and not dependent on parental advocacy.
