Universal Design for Learning is an approach to educational design that is based on the assumption that diversity is a constant in all contexts and in all individuals. It is important to recognize that in all individuals including those with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities. We need to improve access to instruction, that includes a Supported Employment Job Coaches who is providing instruction for a job task in a local business, a Community Inclusion Specialist helping a customer participate in a local community activity, and as a direct support provider providing instruction to help a resident meet their goals in Activities of Daily Living.
