Universal Design for Learning – Equity for All

Universal Design for Learning is the first step toward Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility- but how? Let’s think about a scenario of a job coach who supports seven unique employment candidates of varying ages. Each of these job candidates have unique interests, physical capacities, and ways of learning and yet the job coach has only one way of instruction. Is this addressing the DEIA situation of these job candidates in this scenario? Unfortunately, not.
